The Game

Alright, Get in the car, NOW.
We have to drive, to see this house.
This house, which was decorated for the winter,
So beautifully.

The family, and you.
We're all piled into this little car.
And we're driving along this road.
That takes forever.

finally we see this house.
The strangers invite us in.
You and I enter.
We drink apple cider, and dance,
Together. That feels so strange.

We bring pepsi out to mom and dad.
And we go back in. And we're cheerful.
We're spreading joy, into this strange house.

Family comes in to get us,
We get back into our little car.
And drive off, in the dark.
Sitting next to you,
All I want is your hand.
To me, it's like a magnet.
But I'm resisting.

On a sidewalk inside a school,
We're standing together.
And you grab my hand.
Like your thoughts combined into mine.
And I look at you.

Looking into your eyes make mine burn.
But it's a good burn.
One I never want to forget.

I wonder if we'll end up together..
But apparently, neither of us has any idea.
Until I decide that's what I want.
So I think..
And lean forward.
Until I can't lean any further.
And neither can you.

Walking into a dark, deserted hallway,
I hide under the stairs.
Terrified, of something that can never be,
But was.
And I hear footsteps,
And I cry,
Like they're gonna find me.

An old best friend hugs me,
In an attempt to calm me down.
But I can't even breath, anymore.
And out of nowhere,
There they stood.
Looking at me,
Hatefully?
